New signing sparks instant commercial impact at Camp Nou

A Diario SPORT report on Friday revealed the top-selling Barcelona shirts in the early weeks of the 2026-27 season, with Lamine Yamal remaining comfortably at the top of the list.

The report says Yamal is "by far and away" the club's best-selling player, with the Spain forward continuing his dominance of the commercial charts as Hansi Flick's side make a strong start to the campaign.

Rodri enters top five behind Yamal, Raphinha, Pedri and Cubarsí

Another member of Spain's World Cup-winning squad has quickly become popular with supporters. Rodri's number 16 shirt is already in the top five, behind Yamal, captain Raphinha, Pedri and, somewhat surprisingly, Pau Cubarsí.

The report notes Rodri's numbers have even surpassed Gavi, who has always been very popular among Barça fans, and Fermín López, who is attracting plenty of interest since switching to number 7.

"Rodri's presence in the Top 5 speaks to his standing in the game and just how much excitement his signing generated among fans this summer," the report states.

Anthony Gordon also finds fans

Another new signing getting good shirt sale numbers is Anthony Gordon, who has quickly become a fan favourite with his performances early in the season.

According to the Diario SPORT report, those eight players — Yamal, Raphinha, Pedri, Cubarsí, Rodri, Gavi, Fermín López and Gordon — are responsible for the vast majority of the profits from shirt sales in the opening weeks of the season.
