La Liga champions Barcelona have received a timely boost ahead of their season opener following official confirmation that summer arrivals Rodri and Karim Adeyemi have been registered for league action.

However, heading into the final days before the opener, registration hurdles had left their availability uncertain.

Flick and his technical staff can now count on both midfielder Rodri and forward Adeyemi for selection as the Blaugrana target an opening-weekend victory against Elche, while efforts continue to ensure the rest of their summer business is fully cleared.
