Bisiwu Completes Move to Barcelona

Barcelona have officially unveiled Jesse Bisiwu as their latest signing after the 18-year-old winger completed his move from Club Brugge in a deal worth €8.5 million. The Belgian youth international has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Blaugrana, becoming the club's third attacking reinforcement of the summer transfer window.

'Being Here Is a Dream'

Speaking at his unveiling on Tuesday, Bisiwu expressed his excitement about joining one of Europe's most prestigious clubs. The teenager, who has represented Belgium at under-17 level, admitted that playing for Barcelona has been a lifelong ambition.

"I had seen Camp Nou on TV, but not yet in person. Being here and seeing it for myself is a different feeling. I'm very happy to be here," Bisiwu said. "When I was young, I always dreamed of playing for a big club like Barca, so being here is a dream for me. I have been welcomed by a great family."

Learning Under Flick

Despite never making a competitive appearance for Club Brugge's senior team, Bisiwu is eager to develop under manager Hansi Flick. The young winger acknowledged that he will need to work hard to earn his place in the squad.

"Hansi has treated me very well, we have had some talks, and it is very easy to understand what I have to do this year – work very hard and learn as much as possible," he added.

Bisiwu joins fellow summer arrivals Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi as Barcelona look to strengthen their attacking options for the 2026-27 campaign. The club will begin their LaLiga title defense when they visit Elche on August 23, aiming to secure a third domestic title in as many seasons under Flick's leadership.
