Enzo Fernandez completes £125m Manchester City move in Premier League deadline-day frenzy
Record business as the window slams shut
Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has completed a stunning £125m move to Manchester City in the standout deal of the 2026 summer window — one of dozens of transfers confirmed as the Premier League deadline passed on 1 September.
The Argentine's switch to the Etihad was the headline of a frantic final few hours that also saw Everton's Iliman Ndiaye join City for £65m, while Jack Grealish moved in the opposite direction on loan to Everton. Crystal Palace were among the busiest clubs, landing Dario Osario, Quinten Timber, Ben Chilwell, Honest Ahanor and Jean-Matteo Bahoya, while Hull City raided the continent for Christos Mouzakitis, Sorba Thomas, Robinio Vaz, Brooke Norton-Cuffey, Tim Iroegbunam and Ilyas Ansah.
