Morgan Gibbs-White a doubt for Nottingham Forest’s Arsenal test

Forest wait on midfielder’s fitness

Nottingham Forest face a late decision over Morgan Gibbs-White’s availability for Sunday’s visit to Arsenal after the England international sustained a minor calf injury in last weekend’s defeat at Crystal Palace.

Forest’s manager said Gibbs-White had been unable to train with the squad throughout the week but might return to a session before the match. “Morgan Gibbs-White is a doubt, he couldn’t train the entire week with us,” he said, adding that it looked as though the player could join the next day’s training.

His fitness will be assessed before the team travels to face Arsenal. The report provided no final update on whether the midfielder would be available.
