Germany lose Kai Havertz and Jamal Musiala to injuries before Greece clash
Germany suffer double injury setback
Germany have lost Kai Havertz and Jamal Musiala to injury during the international break, forcing changes to the squad before Sunday’s Nations League match against Greece.

Musiala suffered a torn muscle fibre in his right thigh during the warm-up for Germany’s Nations League opener against the Netherlands. Reports in Germany indicate that the Bayern Munich player could be sidelined for three to four weeks.
Havertz started the 1-1 draw with the Netherlands but was substituted in the 30th minute because of a muscle strain. The German Football Association confirmed his withdrawal, although no timetable has been set for his return.
Wirtz and Burkardt drafted in
Germany had prepared two squads totalling 44 players for the extended international break, allowing Florian Wirtz and Jonathan Burkardt to be called up earlier than originally planned.
Wirtz has made six appearances for Liverpool this season, recording one assist and creating 12 chances. Burkardt has enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, scoring six goals in five appearances and averaging a goal every 64.7 minutes, according to the supplied report.
Germany will host Greece on Sunday in their second Nations League fixture.
