"There is still enough to improve, and I am more than happy to do that," Tuchel said in the aftermath of the match. Tuchel highlighted possession football as a critical area needing attention. "Ball possession plays a crucial role," he noted, suggesting England lacks the same DNA as teams like Spain or Argentina in maintaining control under pressure. He specifically pointed to the momentum shift after Anthony Gordon's 55th-minute goal as a turning point in the match.
