Ouattara earns Brentford a point as Hull’s home run survives
McBurnie’s penalty gives Hull the lead
Hull City’s unbeaten home record survived, but their wait for a Premier League victory stretched to seven games after Brentford fought back for a 1-1 draw at the MKM Stadium on Saturday.
Oliver McBurnie put Hull ahead in the 24th minute, converting from the penalty spot after Aaron Hickey brought down Tim Iroegbunam. Brentford goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher guessed the right way but could not keep out McBurnie’s low effort.

Ouattara levels after the break
Brentford improved after half-time and levelled in the 63rd minute. Substitute Jaidon Anthony sent a cross into the area, and Igor Thiago helped set up Dango Ouattara, who finished past Konstantinos Tzolakis.
Anthony went close to putting Brentford in front, while Hull had a late opportunity to snatch the win. Mohamed-Ali Cho’s cross found Joe Gelhardt, but Gelhardt could not direct his effort on target.
Both sides leave with a point
Hull created chances in a lively first half, including an early opening for McBurnie, but Brentford also threatened: Sepp van den Berg had a header saved by Tzolakis, and Kevin Schade’s effort was blocked by teammate Igor Thiago.
The result extends Hull’s unbeaten home run, while Brentford remain without a win in their last three league matches. Hull have now gone seven Premier League games without a victory, according to the match report.
