Jamal Musiala set to miss Bayern’s Leipzig and Arsenal tests

Musiala’s comeback remains on hold

Jamal Musiala has taken another step in his recovery, completing a rehabilitation session at Bayern Munich’s Säbener Straße training ground, but the midfielder is expected to miss two major fixtures.

According to BILD, Musiala trained for around 45 minutes with rehabilitation coach Simon Martinello. The work included runs at varying speeds and light ball exercises.

Leipzig and Arsenal games likely to come too soon

Musiala will definitely miss Bayern’s match against RB Leipzig on Saturday. His availability for next week’s Champions League fixture against Arsenal is also described as virtually impossible.

The timing of his return to team training will depend on how his muscles respond to the increased workload over the coming days. Bayern’s staff are determined not to take risks after previous aggravations, leaving his comeback dependent on a cautious recovery process.
