Fiorentina confirm Dodo will leave at end of season as Juventus, Milan and Barcelona circle
Fiorentina open the door on Dodo exit
Fiorentina director Fabio Paratici has made clear that Brazilian right-back Dodo is destined to leave the club, either in January or at the end of the season, with the player's contract at the Stadio Franchi running out in June 2027.

Speaking to DAZN, and quoted by TMW, Paratici was direct about the situation: "It's very clear, and it's always been. At the end of the season, he'll have a legitimate ambition to find another club."
He added: "We were available if a valuable offer had arrived [in the summer], but we didn't receive one, and it has created some issues with his approach to the new season. Now he trains really well; he's a team member and will be considered as such until he's here."
A stalled contract and limited minutes
Dodo rejected Fiorentina's contract extension offers last summer and has made only four appearances across all competitions this season, totalling 166 minutes. With less than a year left on his deal, the club have effectively accepted that a sale or a free departure is the likely outcome.
Interest from Italy and Spain
Spanish newspaper Sport reported earlier in October that Barcelona continue to monitor the Brazilian, a report that came amid wider coverage linking him with a free transfer next summer. Juventus and Milan have also been linked with the 27-year-old. These reports are speculative and no bids have been confirmed.
Vanoli's side under pressure
Dodo is available for Fiorentina's away Serie A game at Inter on Sunday, which kicks off at 12:30 CET. Coach Paolo Vanoli has once again selected Alex Jimenez at right-back. Fiorentina have taken only one point from their last three league games, losing the two most recent.
Paratici backed the manager, saying: "We all support him [Vanoli] and try to help him. He's earned four points in four games, including matches against big clubs. You also need to look at the fixture list and some incidents."
He concluded: "We don't think about January; we have talent in attack and defence. We have started a clear journey, knowing we'd face difficulties. There's no shortcut; we must face it by optimising our work."
