Barcelona prepare Marc Casadó sale as midfield reshuffle gathers pace
Casadó moves closer to Barcelona exit
Barcelona have reportedly placed Marc Casadó at the front of their list of first-team players to sell before the transfer window closes. The 22-year-old midfielder is said to be outside the plans of the coaching staff and is being viewed by the club as a potential source of transfer income.

Reports say Casadó was upset after being told he would not feature in upcoming friendlies. A graduate of La Masia who joined Barcelona at the age of 13, he is now looking for a new club and would prefer to remain in one of Europe’s leading leagues rather than move to Saudi Arabia.
His agent, Jorge Mendes, is understood to be exploring possibilities, with AC Milan identified as one potential destination. However, that option has not advanced, while the Saudi offers currently appear to be the only proposals close to Barcelona’s reported valuation.
Barcelona are seeking at least €30 million, although no European club has yet matched that figure. With the window entering its final weeks, the Catalan club may have to consider a lower fee if it remains determined to complete the sale and reduce its wage bill.
Fabrizio Romano described Casadó as the next player expected to leave Barcelona, while adding that there had been no talks with Al Hilal and that other options remained open. The anticipated arrival of Rodri from Manchester City would further increase competition in midfield and strengthen Barcelona’s financial incentive to move Casadó on.
