'I love being here' – Karim Adeyemi nets first Barcelona goal in 5-2 pre-season victory over FC Basel
Karim Adeyemi expressed his delight after scoring his first goal for Barcelona in Sunday's emphatic 5-2 pre-season friendly victory against FC Basel.

The summer arrival opened the scoring for Hansi Flick's side in their penultimate pre-season match before the competitive campaign gets underway, producing a composed finish from inside the penalty area to get off the mark in Blaugrana colours.
Speaking to the media after the final whistle, the forward admitted he is relishing life in Catalonia while also adapting to the intense demands that come with representing Barcelona.
"I feel great, I think it was a good game, we’re still adapting, I love being here and I already want more," Adeyemi said. "It’s a dream come true, I’m enjoying every day and I’m learning a lot from the team and trying to be better every day, it’s incredible to be in a city like this and at such a big club."
He continued: "This is the biggest club in the world and every day I push myself to the limit, I try to learn and give my best on the field and I think it’s more difficult than I expected.
"Of course we are prepared, we have very good players, everyone can see it, everyone can play, and everyone is ready. On Wednesday we will play a good match, and the next one we will play even better."
Adeyemi is expected to feature in midweek during the traditional Joan Gamper Trophy clash before turning his attention to a potential La Liga debut on Sunday against Elche.
