Inter confirm Benjamin Pavard thigh injury as absences mount
Pavard joins Inter’s injury list
Inter have confirmed that Benjamin Pavard has sustained a strain to the adductors in his right thigh. The defender underwent medical examinations in Milan on Thursday morning after reporting an injury.

Initial reports estimate that Pavard could be out for around 20 days. He is therefore expected to miss upcoming Serie A fixtures against Bologna, Fiorentina and Venezia, and could be unavailable for the Milan derby at the end of the month.
More concerns after Club Brugge defeat
Pavard’s setback adds to a difficult spell for Cristian Chivu’s squad. Lautaro Martinez picked up a hamstring issue during Tuesday’s 4-3 home defeat by Club Brugge and is facing several weeks out. Curtis Jones is also dealing with a thigh injury, while John Stones has not played since suffering a hamstring problem on his first competitive start for the club in September.
The defeat left Inter with no points after two Champions League matches, according to the report.
