Anthony Gordon lauds Barcelona teammate Pedri: 'He sees absolutely everything'

Anthony Gordon has credited teammate Pedri with transforming his game since his summer move to Barcelona, declaring that the Spain international “sees absolutely everything.”

The 25-year-old English winger, a summer signing for the Blaugrana, used an interview with Barca magazine — as cited by Diario Sport — to reflect on the early weeks of his Camp Nou career and the players who have made his adaptation easier.

“I’ve made a lot of runs throughout my career that nobody saw, but now I have Pedri, who sees absolutely everything,” Gordon said.

Gordon was speaking after an impressive international break with England, during which he registered four direct goal contributions across three UEFA Nations League fixtures. The winger’s form has drawn widespread praise, with many suggesting he has taken his game to new heights since joining Barcelona over the summer.

The understanding developing between Gordon and Pedri is already bearing fruit on the pitch. According to a FotMob player snapshot fetched on 8 October 2026, Gordon had registered four assists in six LaLiga 2026-27 appearances for Barcelona, while Pedri had contributed one goal and one assist in seven outings in the same competition.

For Gordon, the assurance of having a midfielder who reads his movements has been the defining difference — a luxury he says was missing for much of his career.
