PSG end Barcelona's perfect start with 4-2 Champions League win
Paris Saint-Germain 4-2 FC Barcelona: Barcelona suffered their first defeat of the 2026-27 season as two late goals from the Parisians ended their perfect record. Goals from Xavi Espart and Lamine Yamal had kept the Catalans well in contention, but PSG's late surge proved decisive.

Flick: 'We'll get better'
Hansi Flick responded to what he described as a fantastic game, in which his side played well but paid for their errors. "PSG were better than us," the Barça coach said after the first defeat of the season. He added: "Titles aren't won in October, the Champions League will be decided in June."
Raphinha: 'We showed that we can compete'
Barcelona captain Raphinha lamented the defeat but was pleased with his side's display against the two-time champions in front of their own fans. "The result is the result, but we showed that we can compete," he said.
Young players hold their heads high
Gerard Martín, Bernal and Xavi Espart expressed satisfaction with the team's performance despite the loss. Their message was simple: heads held high and learn for the future.
Luis Enrique on Barça's level
PSG coach Luis Enrique said that Ousmane Doué's first goal calmed his side down. "I won't fall into the trap of thinking we're better," he said, adding that "you can't imagine Barça's level until you have them in front of you."
