Gnabry marks Bundesliga century in Bayern victory
Serge Gnabry reached 100 Bundesliga goals as Bayern Munich beat Freiburg 3-1 on Matchday 7, giving the champions a first-half cushion with a composed finish.

Gnabry latched onto Nathaniel Brown’s return pass and slotted the ball beyond Freiburg goalkeeper Mio Backhaus. It was his first league start of the 2026/27 campaign, and the goal brought his career Bundesliga tally to a century in 267 appearances.
“My 100th Bundesliga goal is a nice story,” Gnabry said. “I hadn't expected that, but it's great that it helped the team.”
A milestone built across three clubs
Gnabry began his Bundesliga scoring record with Werder Bremen, netting 11 times in 27 top-flight appearances in 2016/17. He added 10 goals in 22 league appearances for Hoffenheim the following season, helping the club qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Since moving to Bayern Munich, he has scored a further 79 Bundesliga goals. The club’s No. 7 will have an opportunity to add to his total when Bayern host Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker on Matchday 8.
