Karim Adeyemi has earned high praise from manager Jurgen Klopp following his return to the Germany national team fold, with the coach highlighting the Barcelona forward's unique athletic and technical skillset.

Adeyemi featured in Germany's recent 1-1 draw against the Netherlands, marking his reintegration into the squad following his transfer to Barcelona. While the forward missed a notable opportunity to get on the scoresheet against the Dutch, Klopp was in good spirits when addressing the moment ahead of Germany's upcoming fixture against Greece.

When questioned about Adeyemi's missed chance, Klopp joked: "I was just about to ask which miss?"

The German boss quickly turned serious to defend the attacker, praising his overall performance and resilience on the pitch.

"He would have put that away normally, even if the ball bounced and was played sharply," Klopp explained. "Dealing with that is the biggest challenge in a footballer’s life, but we’re working on it. He had many really good moments."

Klopp went further to emphasize why he values Adeyemi's presence in the squad, noting both his personality and his technical qualities.

"He’s a wonderful guy and a very pleasant person. I really like the whole package he offers," Klopp said. "I know few people who can choose whether to take the ball with their left or right foot when they’re running. And he has incredible speed."

"Karim offers so much. Can he play better? Yes! But he could have been much worse. Onwards and upwards!"
