CSD weighs action over Tebas’s Real Madrid TV remarks
Sports authority considers possible response, but no case has been confirmed
Spain’s Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD) is studying whether to act on its own initiative over comments by LaLiga president and Spanish federation vice-president Javier Tebas about Real Madrid TV, according to a report by Mundo Deportivo citing EFE.

The reported review is not confirmation that the CSD has opened formal disciplinary proceedings, referred the matter to the Tribunal Administrativo del Deporte or imposed a penalty. No decision or timetable for a next step was reported.
Tebas says his comparison was about methods
The remarks under scrutiny were made on Friday, 16 October. Tebas compared Real Madrid TV’s communication methods with propaganda techniques used in Nazi Germany. He said the comparison referred to techniques, not to an ideology or to Real Madrid supporters.
Real Madrid responded by demanding Tebas’s immediate resignation from his positions at LaLiga and the Spanish federation, and strongly criticised his comments.
President asks CSD to consider context and precedents
In a response on X, Tebas said he was surprised by the report that the CSD was considering possible action. He asked the authority to examine what he had written and take relevant precedents into account. His post addressed the reported consideration but did not confirm that formal proceedings had begun.
For now, the reported development remains at the review stage: whether the CSD will take any further action is undecided.
