McCullum welcomes Pietersen challenge ahead of Sri Lanka white-ball tour

England white-ball coach Brendon McCullum has said he wants to be challenged by Kevin Pietersen as the former England batter joins the set-up as a specialist mentor for the white-ball games with Sri Lanka.

The comments come in a new Test Match Special podcast episode hosted by Mark Chapman, who is joined by Michael Vaughan, Phil Tufnell and Steven Finn. The panel looks back on the Test summer, looks ahead to the winter programme and discusses what England want to get out of the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka with Pietersen on board in a specialist mentoring role.
