Darsheel Safary Joins Star-Studded Indo-U.S Immigrant Drama with Mohit Raina and Priyamani

Bollywood actor Darsheel Safary, best known for his breakout role in Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par, has officially joined the cast of an upcoming international feature film. The yet-untitled project is an Indo-U.S co-production centered on an immigrant family drama, delving into profound themes of identity, belonging, and emotional resilience.

The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Mohit Raina, recognized for his roles in popular Indian series, and Priyamani, who gained widespread acclaim with her performance in Jawan. Darsheel Safary is set to play a pivotal role, described as the emotional core of the narrative, bridging the cultural and geographical divides between Indian and American settings.

Speaking about his involvement, Darsheel Safary shared his deep emotional connection to the script with IANS: “This story moved me deeply. For Darsheel Safary, this role comes after a varied career trajectory following his debut in 2007's Taare Zameen Par. Subsequent films like Zokkomon and Bumm Bumm Bole did not replicate the success of his first, but this international venture signals a promising resurgence for the young actor.
