Ferran Torres admits he 'misses Pedri very much' after Barcelona exit to PSG
Ferran Torres opens up on life at PSG and his bond with Pedri
Ferran Torres has admitted that he is already feeling the absence of a familiar face from his Barcelona days, confessing that he misses former teammate Pedri 'very much' since his summer switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 26-year-old forward brought an end to his spell at the Camp Nou this past summer when he was handed the chance to join reigning back-to-back Champions League winners PSG in the French capital. Torres did not hesitate to make the move, and has since enjoyed a prolific start to life in Paris, notching seven goals in his first six appearances for the club.
Despite his explosive form in front of goal, the World Cup winner revealed during an appearance on El Hormiguero — as cited by journalist Fabrizio Romano — that the adjustment to a new city has come with one notable downside.
Discussing the logistics of his move and the process of settling into Paris, Torres said: “This week, I’ve been dealing with moving and bringing all of my stuff from Barcelona to Paris. The only one I haven’t been able to bring is Pedri! I miss him very much.”
The light-hearted comment underscores the close relationship Torres built with the Spain and Barcelona midfielder during their time together in Catalonia, even as the forward now thrives in a new environment under the bright lights of the Parc des Princes.
