Maguire says under-fire Man Utd must 'ignore the noise'

Maguire urges squad to block out criticism

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has urged his team-mates to "ignore the noise" as the club endure a difficult start to the season.

United sit on five points from five Premier League games after Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Fulham. The return leaves them on their joint-worst points tally at this stage of a Premier League season, matching 2014-15.

Maguire told the club’s website: "You have got to ignore the noise and really believe and think about what we have done this year, along with what we need to work on and improve on. We are not far away."
