2026 Formula 1 Season Schedule Announced

Formula 1 is ready for the 2026 season with an ambitious 24-race calendar that will take drivers around the globe from June through December. The expanded schedule showcases the sport's growth and includes races at some of the world's most prestigious circuits.

European Summer Campaign

The season begins in June with consecutive races in Europe. The Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, Spain, kicks off the European leg from June 12-14. This is followed closely by the Austrian Grand Prix at Red Bull Ring in Spielberg from June 26-28.

The British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit (July 3-5) marks the first sprint race weekend of the season, with an additional sprint qualifying and race day compressed into the traditional three-day format. The Belgian Grand Prix at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (July 17-19) and the Hungarian Grand Prix at Hungaroring in Mogyoród (July 24-26) continue the European campaign through late July.

Summer Break and August Return

August brings the Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort (August 21-23), featuring another sprint race weekend format. September opens with the Italian Grand Prix at Monza (September 4-6), one of F1's most historic venues, followed immediately by the Spanish Grand Prix at the Madrid Street Circuit (September 11-13).

Global Tour: Asia and Americas

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix at Baku City Circuit (September 24-26) transitions the season toward Asia and the Middle East. The Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay Street Circuit (October 9-11) includes another sprint race weekend, offering drivers three chances to score points across the three-day event.

The American leg features the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas (October 23-25), followed by the Mexico City Grand Prix at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (October 30 - November 1) and the São Paulo Grand Prix at Interlagos Circuit (November 6-8).

November Finale and Middle East Showdown

November brings three consecutive races to close out the season. The Las Vegas Grand Prix on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit (November 19-22) offers early morning qualifying and race times for U.S. viewers due to time zone differences. The Qatar Grand Prix at Lusail International Circuit (November 27-29) follows, setting up the season finale.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit (December 4-6) traditionally concludes the F1 season, giving the championship battle its final stage for drivers and teams competing for glory.

Sprint Race Weekends

Three races feature sprint weekend formats in 2026: Silverstone, Zandvoort, and Singapore. These compressed weekends add an extra layer of competition and provide additional point-scoring opportunities for teams throughout the season.

Viewing Times

All session times are provided in both Eastern Time (ET) and United Kingdom time to accommodate international viewers. Most European races begin at 9-10 a.m. ET, while American races are afternoon events. Asian races typically start at 6-8 a.m. ET, and Middle Eastern races vary based on regional scheduling preferences.
