Lewis Hamilton's resurgence at Australian Grand Prix gives Ferrari hope
Lewis Hamilton's resurgence at Australian Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton is having fun again, and the signs are that his joy and pace are back after a dismal 2025 season with Ferrari. At the Australian Grand Prix, Hamilton led the race for three laps and finished fourth, a mere 0.6 seconds behind teammate Charles Leclerc.

Hamilton described the race as 'really, really fun' and felt good, stating that with 'a couple more laps, I would have had Charles, so I had great pace. Lots and lots of positives to take.'
The new generation of cars seems to be suiting Hamilton, who 'personally loved it' and thought the race was 'really fun.' Ferrari's team principal, Fred Vasseur, was pleased with Hamilton's performance but cautioned against reading too much into one good weekend.
The next challenge for Hamilton and Ferrari is the Chinese Grand Prix, where they will face off against Mercedes, who dominated the Australian Grand Prix with a one-two finish.
