Vidarbha Survive Late Collapse to Beat Jammu & Kashmir by Three Wickets

In Srinagar, Vidarbha overcame Jammu & Kashmir by three wickets in a low-scoring thriller, surviving a dramatic collapse in their modest run chase.

A Nervy Chase

Chasing a target of 79 in the final innings, Vidarbha collapsed to 26/6 and then 55/7 before Harsh Dubey (22 not out) and Nachiket Bhute (13 not out) took them home.

Nachiket Bhute had earlier done the damage with the ball, claiming 5/48 as J&K were bowled out for 123 in their second innings. Vidarbha had posted 305 in reply to J&K's 260, and S Kumar's 4/30 kept the hosts in the hunt before the visitors edged across the line at 81/7.
