Rodin Motorsport Sweeps Baku F2 Qualifying as Stenshorne Takes Pole
Rodin delivers a perfect qualifying start in Baku
Rodin Motorsport swept both Formula 2 qualifying sessions in Baku, putting Alexander Dunne and Martinius Stenshorne at the head of the field and securing two front-row lockouts for the team.

Dunne leads Q1
Alexander Dunne set the pace in Qualifying 1 with a lap of 1:55.383. His Rodin team-mate Martinius Stenshorne finished just 0.033 seconds behind, completing a dominant 1-2 for the squad.
Noel León took third for Campos Racing, ahead of ART Grand Prix’s Kush Maini and Invicta Racing’s Rafael Câmara. Mari Boya and Sebastián Montoya placed sixth and seventh for PREMA Racing, while Dino Beganovic rose to eighth with a late lap. Laurens van Hoepen was ninth and championship leader Nikola Tsolov tenth.
Tsolov’s position means he will start Saturday’s Sprint Race from reverse-grid pole.
Stenshorne strikes late for Q2 pole
Stenshorne saved his best effort for the closing stages of Qualifying 2, producing a 1:53.728 to take pole position. He beat Dunne by 0.445 seconds, giving Rodin another front-row lockout.
Câmara had held provisional pole for much of the session but ended third after watching the final stages from the pit lane. Boya qualified fourth, followed by Maini and León. Van Hoepen was seventh, Tsolov eighth, Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak ninth and Montoya tenth.
Sprint and Feature races ahead
The 21-lap Sprint Race is scheduled for 08:15 local time on Saturday, with the first Feature Race of the weekend following at 14:15. Rodin will begin the day with both of its drivers at the front of the main qualifying order, while Tsolov leads the reverse-grid Sprint field from pole.
