St. Pauli held goalless at Darmstadt as fifth away draw piles pressure on Kohfeldt's side

Goalless stalemate at Darmstadt

St. Pauli recorded their sixth draw of the season after a goalless encounter at relegation-threatened Darmstadt on Friday. Five of those draws have come in away fixtures, as Marcel Rapp's side failed to convert their clear-cut chances.

Darmstadt remain in the drop zone

The hosts have lost only once at home this season, but they remain in the relegation zone after losing all of their first four games on the road.

Clean sheet after heavy defeat

Florian Kohfeldt's men were second best against last season's Bundesliga club, but they managed to keep their first clean sheet of the season, a week after losing 4-0 at Karlsruhe.

What's next

Darmstadt face Bundesliga debutants Elversberg in midweek cup action. St. Pauli, who suffered an early cup upset at 3. Liga side RW Essen in the first round, entertain second-placed Nürnberg on the first day of November.
