AC Milan complete €50m signing of Belgium winger Diego Moreira from Strasbourg
Milan land Moreira in major Strasbourg deal
AC Milan have completed the signing of winger Diego Moreira from Strasbourg, with the Belgium international agreeing to a five-year contract at San Siro.

The transfer is reportedly worth €50 million, with another €16 million available in add-ons. Moreira becomes the latest major arrival at Milan following the additions of Goncalo Ramos and Mario Gila.
Impressive production in Ligue 1
Moreira, 22, scored seven goals and supplied 15 assists in 76 appearances for Strasbourg after joining the French club from partner club Chelsea in 2024.
His creative numbers were among the best in Ligue 1 over the past two seasons. His 13 league assists were joint-fourth across that period, while he led Strasbourg players for chances created with 66, completed dribbles with 93 and take-on-ending carries with 100.
From Belgium duty to a Milan debut
The winger has also represented Belgium at the World Cup, making one appearance as a substitute in the country's dramatic round-of-32 victory over Senegal.
Moreira had reportedly been in advanced talks with RB Leipzig over a move to replace Yan Diomande, but opted for Milan. He could make his competitive debut alongside Goncalo Ramos when Milan open their 2026-27 Serie A campaign against Torino on Sunday.
The match will also mark the start of Ruben Amorim's tenure as Milan head coach. Amorim could become the first foreign manager to win his opening Serie A match in charge of the club since Leonardo in August 2009.
