Shubman Gill smashes fastest ODI double hundred as India pull off record 406 chase
Shubman Gill produced one of the greatest individual batting performances in one-day international history, smashing an unbeaten 223 off just 133 balls — the fastest double hundred the format has ever seen — to fuel India's staggering pursuit of a 406-run target.

India scale historic heights in the chase
Gill's double ton, accompanied by Rohit Sharma's 101, helped India maul down a target of 406 — their highest successful chase in the format. It was only the second time in ODI history that a target of 400 or more had been chased down, after South Africa's famous 438 against Australia in Johannesburg in 2006.
Series sealed with 39 balls to spare
India got to the target with 39 balls to spare, wrapping up victory in emphatic fashion and taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Gill's 223* also stands as the third-highest individual score in ODI history.
