Kieran McKenna linked with Celtic job as Martin O’Neill considers future

McKenna speculation emerges

Former Celtic winger Aiden McGeady says he has heard whispers that Kieran McKenna could be in the frame to become the club’s next manager.

The speculation comes as Martin O’Neill considers his own future. McKenna, who previously managed Ipswich Town, is being mentioned as a possible option, but the report does not indicate that Celtic have made an appointment or formal approach.

McGeady offered coaching role at Dundee

McGeady has also explained how Dundee technical director Gordon Strachan opened the door for him to assist head coach Steven Pressley on an ad-hoc basis.

The proposed work would focus on helping Dundee’s wingers and forwards, allowing McGeady to pass on his experience to the club’s attacking players while continuing to develop his coaching involvement.
