Mourinho dismisses hypothetical move for Barcelona star

Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has ruled out signing Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal if the opportunity arose, offering a blunt response when asked about the possibility during an interview with El Chiringuito TV.

Asked whether he would be keen to bring Yamal to the Santiago Bernabéu, Mourinho acknowledged the teenager’s quality but made clear that the winger was not a player he would pursue.

“He’s a very good player, but no. We already have the best players.”

The comments come as Real Madrid prepare to compete with Barcelona for domestic supremacy. Yamal has continued to enhance his reputation after adding further silverware to his collection, including a third Spanish top-flight title last season and a World Cup triumph with Spain, according to the report.
