Barcelona make €3m opening offer for Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Dominik Livaković

Barcelona open talks for Livaković

Barcelona have made an opening offer of around €3 million for Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Dominik Livaković, according to a report from Diario Sport.

The Croatia international has emerged as a surprise target for the La Liga champions, who are looking ahead to the eventual need to replace Wojciech Szczęsny. Barcelona are reportedly considering Livaković for the 2027/28 campaign, but want to complete a permanent transfer this summer before sending him out on loan for the season ahead.

Fenerbahçe open to goalkeeper sale

Livaković is understood to be surplus to requirements at Fenerbahçe after the Turkish club brought former Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson to Istanbul. That situation has encouraged Barcelona to explore what they view as a potential market opportunity.

“Barça has already sent a formal offer for Livakovic and trusts that Fenerbahçe will accept it. Around 3 million euros. It’s not a priority today, but it is a market opportunity,” Carlos Monfort of Diario Sport reported.

The initial proposal does not yet represent a completed transfer, with Barcelona awaiting Fenerbahçe’s response.
