Barcelona loan goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili to Almería with option to buy
Yaakobishvili leaves Barcelona on loan
Barcelona have confirmed the departure of goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili, who will spend the next stage of his development at UD Almería.
The agreement keeps the 20-year-old at the Andalusian club until June 30, 2027, while Almería also hold an option to buy him at the end of the loan. Barcelona announced the deal through their official social media channels.

Hungary international earns another opportunity
Yaakobishvili is regarded as one of the promising young goalkeepers to come through Barcelona’s ranks. Despite his age, he has already represented Hungary at senior level.
Last season, he gained valuable first-team experience with Andorra in La Liga 2, making 21 league appearances. His performances attracted interest from several clubs before Almería secured the agreement with Barcelona.
Barcelona’s statement read: “FC Barcelona and UD Almería have reached an agreement for the loan of player Aron Yaakobishvili until June 30, 2027. The Andalusian club has an option to buy.”
