Super Star Senior grand finale: Sharreth, Shaan Rahman, Manjari and M. G. Sreekumar on judging panel as Manju Warrier joins as guest judge

The grand finale of Super Star Senior, the musical reality show celebrating talented senior singers, brought together an impressive panel of judges: music directors Sharreth and Shaan Rahman, along with celebrated singers Manjari and M. G. Sreekumar.

Adding star power to the occasion, actress Manju Warrier appeared as a guest judge, while Parvathy Babu hosted the finale.

The highlight of the evening was a candid on-stage conversation between Manju Warrier and Shaan Rahman, in which the two revisited the making of the hit song 'Kaikkottum Kandittilla' from Vadakkan Selfie — a song Manju was once approached to sing.

"Shaan, do you remember inviting me to sing a song in Vadakkan Selfie? It became a huge hit,"

Manju reminded him on stage.

Shaan explained that the team had considered her for the track before settling on singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, whose rendition went on to become a massive success. Manju also heaped praise on Vijayalakshmi, saying she "sang it so beautifully," while admitting that hearing the finished song made her feel she should have been the one to sing it.

The light-hearted exchange capped off a grand finale that celebrated both the contestants and the memories behind some of Malayalam cinema's most loved melodies.
