Royal Challengers Bengaluru release Grace Harris and three others ahead of WPL 2027 auction

RCB trim squad ahead of auction

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru have released hard-hitting batter Grace Harris ahead of the WPL 2027 Auction. The Australian scored two half-centuries, both against UP Warriorz, in RCB’s title triumph but is among four players released by the holders.

Linsey Smith, D Hemalatha and Gautami Nayak are the others let go by the holders. The moves trim RCB’s retained core ahead of the next player auction.

Perry returns to frame

Legendary all-rounder Ellyse Perry, who missed the last season due to personal reasons despite being retained by RCB, has confirmed her availability to play in the upcoming season. Perry’s return to availability gives the defending champions a key overseas option as they reshape the squad for WPL 2027.
