João Félix reportedly targets Barcelona return as a free agent in 2027
Félix dreams of a Barcelona comeback
João Félix is reportedly hoping to return to Barcelona as a free agent next summer, according to a report by Diario Sport cited by Get Spanish Football News. The report says Félix is set on returning to European football and that his agent, Jorge Mendes, has already informed Barcelona of the forward’s wish.

Félix spent the 2023/24 campaign at Barcelona on loan from Atlético Madrid. He showed moments of quality, but the club did not make the move permanent, with the report citing his inconsistency as a factor.
Barcelona’s interest is not established
The Portuguese forward joined Saudi side Al-Nassr in 2025. Get Spanish Football News reports that he has since enjoyed success there, was named the Saudi Pro League’s Player of the Year last season and has reestablished himself with Portugal’s national team.
A return to Barcelona is presented as Félix’s ambition, not as an agreed move. It remains unclear whether the La Liga champions would be interested in bringing him back.
