Apple to include F1 TV free in Apple TV subscriptions as 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix streams live from Baku
The 2026 Formula 1 season continues this weekend with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix at the Baku City Circuit, and fans have more ways than ever to follow every minute of the action live on F1 TV.
Apple brings F1 TV to Apple TV subscribers in the US
The biggest change is for American viewers. Apple, Formula 1's new Official U.S. Broadcaster, will host F1 TV included for free within its Apple TV subscription, streamlining access for fans and enhancing the overall fan experience.
The F1 TV broadcast team will also primarily front Apple TV's English-language coverage, bringing their established expertise and insight to a wider US audience.
Antonelli on top, Norris out for revenge
Kimi Antonelli arrives in Baku at the top of the drivers' standings with an even greater advantage of 81 points following his victory last time out in Madrid. The Mercedes driver will be looking to add another triumph to his growing tally on the demanding street circuit.
Lando Norris, meanwhile, missed out on a potential win at the Spanish Grand Prix after making a pit stop just as a Virtual Safety Car phase ended — a stroke of misfortune the reigning World Champion will likely be keen to bounce back from this weekend.
Every session live on F1 TV Pro
As usual, coverage of all the action from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be available across various platforms, with every session live on F1 TV Pro — a service that "brings fans closer to the action" via exclusive features like onboard cameras on all 22 of the drivers' cars, as well as access to both the Pre-Race and Post-Race Shows.
F1 TV Pro can be streamed easily via Apple TV, Chromecast Generation 2 and above, Android TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku.
F1 TV Premium: 4K Ultra HD, Multiview and 26 feeds
For fans wanting the ultimate viewing experience, F1 TV Premium is "a premier service that invites the viewer to step into the heart of the action", offering races in 4K Ultra HD/HDR on up to six different devices, plus a personalised Multiview feature available on select devices with 26 different feeds to choose from.
Viewers can watch every F1 Grand Prix, F1 Sprint, Qualifying and practice session live in 4K Ultra HD/HDR at home, with F2, F3, F1 ACADEMY and Porsche Supercup sessions also available to watch live on the platform.
Extra shows and new payment options
Beyond the live action, F1 TV offers in-depth shows such as Tech Talk Retro, which shines a light on iconic car designs from years gone by, and F1 Icons, which tells the exhilarating stories of legendary drivers of the past.
More payment methods are also now available, including AMEX, allowing fans around the world to access F1 TV with ease.
Please note: F1 TV Pro and Premium are available in selected locations only. Fans should check their local broadcasters for coverage details and session times for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
