Nikola Tsolov Dominates F2 Feature Race at the Red Bull Ring
Tsolov Outpaces Field in Austria
Nikola Tsolov delivered a masterclass in composure and pace to secure his fourth win of the season during the F2 Feature Race at the Red Bull Ring. Starting the race from third position, the Campos Racing driver made an aggressive and successful opening lap to seize the lead early on.
The race was not without its challenges; Tsolov briefly lost the lead to Alexander Dunne following the pitstop phase. However, the Red Bull junior quickly regained control of the race, driving away from the competition to cross the finish line with a comfortable margin of over three seconds.
Podium Battle and Key Results
The battle for the remaining podium spots saw Tsolov's primary championship rival, Gabriele Minì, finish in second place. Minì was followed by his MP Motorsport teammate, Oliver Goethe, who celebrated a milestone in his career by achieving his maiden Formula 2 podium.
Further down the order, Rafael Câmara of Invicta Racing managed to hold off ART Grand Prix's Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak to secure fourth place. The closing stages of the race featured a late surge by Martinius Stenshorne, who executed a last-lap overtake on his Rodin Motorsport teammate, Alexander Dunne, to finish sixth.
