Inter Milan and Liverpool lead chase for Barcelona defender Héctor Fort
Barcelona academy product Héctor Fort is primed to leave the club before the summer transfer deadline, with a host of Europe's biggest sides lining up for his signature.

The 20-year-old defender has just returned to base in Barcelona following a season-long loan at La Liga rivals Elche. Despite being heavily restricted by injuries, Fort produced at an impressive rate during his time at the Estadio Martínez Valero, contributing five goals and assists in 17 appearances.
Those efforts, however, have not been enough to convince head coach Hansi Flick of Fort's readiness to contribute in the first team this coming season at the Camp Nou. According to a report from Diario Sport:
"Héctor Fort now assumes his departure from FC Barcelona. The preseason has not changed Hansi Flick's approach with the homegrown player."
As a result, the versatile full-back is far from short of suitors. Inter Milan, Liverpool, Everton and Fulham are all understood to be keeping a close eye on Fort's situation as the window enters its final stages.
Of those interested parties, it is reported that Everton "could present the most attractive proposal" as they look to bolster their defensive ranks before the deadline.
