Dominic Solanke has no plans to leave Tottenham despite Spurs' January striker plans
Solanke committed to Spurs
Dominic Solanke has no plans to look at a move away from Tottenham, according to Football Insider — even though Spurs are planning to add to their attack in January.
The 29-year-old England striker will not be pushed towards the exit by the prospect of new arrivals, with the report indicating he intends to stay at the club and compete for his place.
That is welcome news for Spurs, who can pursue January attacking targets safe in the knowledge that one of their established forwards is not angling for a move. Any new signings would therefore be about strengthening the squad rather than replacing Solanke.
It remains to be seen who Tottenham target in the new year, but the club's January attacking plans will not come at the 29-year-old's expense.
