Colby Donovan signs Celtic deal until 2031 as Martin O'Neill predicts 'very big future'
Colby Donovan commits future to Celtic until 2031
Celtic full-back Colby Donovan has extended his contract at Parkhead until 2031, with manager Martin O'Neill backing the 20-year-old to enjoy a "very big future in the game".
Donovan has made 15 starts for the Scottish champions this season, having made his debut in August last year. He made 27 appearances last season and has been O'Neill's preferred deputy for the injured Alistair Johnston.

O'Neill praises 'tremendous attitude'
Donovan was called up to the Scotland squad for the first time in September, although he did not feature in any of the four Nations League matches under new boss Sebastien Pocognoli.
O'Neill told club media that the defender has "come in when we needed him, given everything for our cause", praising his "tremendous attitude".
"I know the love Colby has for the club and I know what signing this deal means to him and his family," O'Neill said. "I am sure that he will continue to progress and enjoy a very big future in the game, and I am so pleased that he sees his long-term future at Celtic."
Young defender buys into Celtic dream
Donovan said he had relished his time at the club so far. "I've loved every single minute," he said. "But it doesn't stop now. I'm just going to keep kicking on."
He added: "You've got to have that belief as a young player coming through here at Celtic. You see all the signings that they bring in. When I was a kid, I knew I could come through and do it."
