Dolly Singh named Global Digital Storyteller of the Year at Power Creator Awards 2026

Dolly Singh takes top honour at Mumbai creator awards

Times Entertainment’s Power Creator Awards were held in Mumbai on October 23, celebrating India’s digital creator community. The event brought together some of the country’s most popular content creators and recognised their work across platforms.

Global Digital Storyteller of the Year

Among the winners was Dolly Singh, who received the Global Digital Storyteller of the Year award for ‘Banter Cue with Dolly Singh’. The content creator and actress attended the night in a shimmery golden brown blouse and loose designer bottoms.

After collecting her award, host Aparshakti Khurrana asked whether she is the same person as the characters she plays in her content. Dolly replied:

“People who know me know that I am an introvert, but there is a big part of my inner life where I am all these crazy characters; that’s how I have grown up. Like I would talk to, like literally walls of my washroom, and create characters all the time. I am just so happy that the world, the universe, worked in a way where I could use it, and it became my job. So, I am very happy about that, but of course I love playing these characters; I am not that person all the time. Which is why people sometimes get upset.”

Dolly also had a light moment about her outfit, referencing ‘Agent Vinod’:

“Today I am like ‘Yeh to premi pachhatar humare’ (song featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan from ‘Agent Vinod’). So, yeah. Justifying my outfit. Thank you so much for this award,” she added.

Ceremony format

The ceremony was hosted by Aparshakti Khurrana. Jury Choice winners were selected by a panel comprising casting director Mukesh Chhabra, actors Gaurav Gera and Kubbra Sait, and Dhruv Chitgopekar, co-founder and partner at Collective Artists Network. Popular Choice winners were decided through public voting.
