Raphinha returns to Barcelona training as Balde mulls January exit

Raphinha back among his teammates

FC Barcelona winger Raphinha has returned to training with his teammates for the first time since picking up a knock while on international duty. The Brazilian had been sidelined for the club's LaLiga Matchday 8 home fixture against Getafe on 10 October 2026, when he was among the players listed out by the club.

His return arrives as a timely boost for Hansi Flick's side. A FotMob snapshot from 15 October 2026 lists Raphinha with 7 appearances, 12 goals and 3 assists in the 2026-27 LaLiga season — the kind of output that underlines why his fitness is so closely monitored at Camp Nou.

Alejandro Balde weighs a January exit

While one attacker returns, a full-back is contemplating his future. According to SPORT, Alejandro Balde "has played twelve minutes across ten matches and is considering a departure in January." The left-back's minimal involvement this term has prompted thoughts of a move away when the window reopens.

Flick adjusts schedule before Seville trip

Coach Hansi Flick has altered his plans ahead of Barcelona's journey to Seville, Mundo Deportivo reports. The Barcelona boss "has decided to move the training session scheduled for Friday morning to the afternoon, before flying directly to Seville."
