Murrell fires Falkirk to win at Hibernian as Aberdeen end St Mirren run
Falkirk hold on at Easter Road
Falkirk secured an entertaining 2-1 win at Hibernian, with Jacob Murrell putting the visitors 2-0 ahead inside 37 minutes in a game that went from end to end. It is only Falkirk's second league victory of the season, their only other one coming at home to Hearts in September.
Hibernian struck back through an Owen Elding goal, and the home side dominated the second half but could not bag an equaliser as Falkirk held firm for the three points.
Dons back to winning ways
Aberdeen returned to winning ways as a 3-1 victory over St Mirren moved them above their opponents, who have now lost five straight matches. Brad Lyons gave the hosts the lead in spectacular fashion after two minutes, but the Buddies went on to dominate the first half and levelled through Eseosa Sule.
A much-improved second-half display brought goals from Kevin Nisbet and Ayoub Mouloua, handing the Dons three points and lifting Aberdeen to seventh in the table.
