Greg Kiltie double lifts Kilmarnock off the bottom in 3-2 win over Motherwell
Kiltie the difference as Killie climb off the floor
Greg Kiltie scored the first and last goals of the afternoon as Kilmarnock beat Motherwell 3-2 at Rugby Park to move off the bottom of the Scottish Premiership and sink the Steelmen deeper into trouble.
Neil McCann's side needed only two minutes to take the lead, Kiltie striking early to settle the home crowd. Motherwell, though, enjoyed a dominant spell after recovering from that opener and turned the game on its head with goals from Alex Lowry and Seb Palmer-Houlden.
Kilmarnock answered promptly. Tyreece John-Jules equalised, and Motherwell were cut open once more before Kiltie knocked home a 69th-minute winner to send Killie up the table.
The defeat is Motherwell's fifth in a row. They join Kilmarnock in the bottom three, sitting one point above bottom-placed Hibernian.
