Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar has issued a stark warning to the Babar Azam-led national side as they prepare for a challenging three-Test series against England, starting August 19.

Akhtar believes that the hosts will strategically prepare pitches to favor their seam bowlers, creating a hostile environment for the Pakistani batting order. He suggests that England will be mindful of previous tactical errors made by other teams.

Speaking in a recent interview with a local sports platform, as quoted by Geo News, Akhtar noted: "England won't make the same mistake West Indies did that allowed Pakistan to get into a winning position. They'll prepare seam-friendly conditions, which will be very difficult for Pakistan to handle."

This tour marks Pakistan's first Test visit to England since 2020 and serves as a critical fixture in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27 cycle. The schedule is as follows:
