Southern Brave have extended their dominant start to the season, securing a thrilling one-run victory over a winless MI London. The result keeps Brave at the top of the points table with three wins from three matches, while MI London continues to search for their first victory.

Chasing a target of 126, MI London appeared to be comfortably cruising toward the finish line. Danni Wyatt-Hodge anchored the chase with an unbeaten fifty, but her efforts were not enough to overcome a stern defensive effort from the Brave bowling attack in the final overs.

Brave's Batting Effort

After being put in to bat, Southern Brave posted a modest total of 126/7. The innings was built on contributions from three of their top-four batters. Laura Wolvaardt led the way with 35, supported by Maia Bouchier's 31. However, the highlight of the innings was a 60-run partnership between Wolvaardt and the Player of the Match, Jemimah Rodrigues, who struck a brisk 32 off 22 balls.
