The Brazilian winger began his speech by dedicating warm words of encouragement to teammate Roony Bardghji, who is currently sidelined with a significant injury setback.

“I would like first of all to wish a speedy recovery to Roony, who is going through a difficult time in his life and career,” Raphinha said. “He needs our support, he’s a spectacular kid, an incredible player. For everything you need, all of us will be available to help you. He is one of us and we always have to take care of ours.”

Raphinha also praised his club teammates who recently triumphed on the international stage, adding: “I’d like to congratulate the world champions. They’ve done a spectacular job, just what we all hope for. They should be proud; they’ll always be part of football history. Congratulations to everyone.”

Addressing the newly arrived summer signings and reaffirming his own commitment to the Catalan club despite transfer speculation across the window, the winger stressed the significance of representing Barcelona.

“I’d like to welcome the new players. I want to tell them that wearing this shirt and carrying this badge is a huge responsibility, but it’s one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had,” Raphinha explained. “I’m sure it will be the same for them. We’ll be available to help them with whatever they need, so they feel at home.”

“We continue to grow as a team, we will continue to fight as a team. We will need everyone’s support. We, the players and coaching staff, will do everything possible to bring joy this season. Only together can we fight for all the titles. Visca el Barça and visca Catalunya, always.”
