Brittany Mahomes Builds Her Own Sports Empire Beyond Patrick’s NFL Spotlight

Brittany Mahomes is carving out her own place in sports

Patrick Mahomes remains one of the NFL’s biggest stars, but Brittany Mahomes has built a public life and career that extend well beyond cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs from the stands.

Her connection to sports began on the soccer field. Brittany played as a forward at the University of Texas at Tyler, an experience that gave her firsthand insight into the discipline, preparation and competitiveness required at a high level.

Investing in women’s soccer

That playing background later became part of Brittany’s work as a co-owner of the Kansas City Current, a National Women’s Soccer League club. Her involvement reflects both a personal connection to soccer and a wider investment in the growth of women’s professional sports in Kansas City.

The ownership role also places her among a growing number of women helping shape the business side of professional sports, where female representation remains a significant issue. Rather than being defined solely by her relationship with Patrick Mahomes, Brittany has developed a profile built around sports ownership, entrepreneurship and community engagement.

Business, family and life away from NFL Sundays

Brittany’s interests also reach into the beauty and wellness industry through her connection with Divi, the haircare brand founded by Dani Austin Ramirez. The venture adds another strand to a portfolio that already includes soccer and public work.

Social media provides a window into the different parts of her life. Her posts often combine Chiefs game-day reactions with family moments, business interests and a more relaxed friendship with Ramirez. Motherhood is another central part of her schedule as she raises a family with Patrick while managing the demands of public attention and professional commitments.

Patrick Mahomes’ career continues to command global attention, but Brittany’s path has its own milestones: competing as a soccer player, investing in a women’s professional team and developing business relationships. Her story is not simply about standing beside an NFL superstar; it is about using her own athletic background and opportunities to create a distinct identity beyond the field.
