From Getting Scammed After Bigg Boss 16 to Being Bullied for His Height: Abdu Rozik Gets Candid

Abdu Rozik, who captured the hearts of audiences with his memorable journey in Bigg Boss 16, recently sat down for a candid conversation on the House of Zen podcast, where he opened up about some of the most challenging aspects of his life — from financial struggles and being scammed to bullying and his health condition.

Alleged Scam by Agency

During the podcast, Abdu made shocking revelations about his professional journey, claiming that despite years of hard work, he did not receive the money he had earned. Recalling the painful experience, he said, "I worked for three or four years with them. They helped me grow, but when it came to money from shows and projects, I got nothing. They fully scammed me very badly and took everything."

He further added that people often assume he is wealthy because of his fame, saying, "People think, 'Oh my God, Abdu is a millionaire.' But they don't know what I'm carrying behind the scenes."

Financial Struggles Despite Fame

Speaking about the perception people have of his lifestyle, Abdu explained that life behind the scenes is very different from what appears on camera. "Of course, in front of the camera, you're happy, doing well and taking pictures. But when you go home, there is stress and there are problems," he shared.

The singer-actor further revealed, "People think I have a lot of things, but I don't even have a car. I haven't bought a car, a house or anything yet." He expressed his hope that people would work honestly and ethically, stating, "I just want people to work honestly and not scam others."

Growing Up in Poverty

Abdu recalled his difficult childhood growing up in a poor family in the mountains, where he faced numerous challenges from a young age. Speaking about his upbringing, he shared, "I come from a poor family, and I come from the mountains. When I was very small, the snow would be almost half my height. I could sink deep into the snow." Despite the hardships and difficult living conditions, he remained determined to improve his circumstances. "I always try my hardest because I want to change my family's life," he said.

Bullying Due to His Height

Abdu revealed that he was often mocked by classmates and discouraged by people around him because of his small stature. Recalling those painful experiences, he said, "They told me, 'You can't carry the books. You're too small.' They laughed and said the books were bigger than me." He also remembered being told that he would never succeed in life. "They told me, 'What do you think you're going to become? You'll never be anything. You'll just be a farmer,'" he shared.

Reflecting on those difficult years, Abdu stressed the importance of mental resilience, saying, "People think strength is about the body. No. The mind needs to be strong."

Health Condition and Treatment

Abdu also spoke about living with a growth hormone condition and the financial burden of treatment on his family. He revealed that people often question how he manages his responsibilities, saying, "People ask, 'How are you looking after your family? How are you doing all this?'"

Recalling his childhood treatment, he shared that doctors prescribed a special fish oil. "The bottle was very small, but it cost around $300. It was very expensive for my family," he said. Abdu further disclosed that doctors had suggested hormone treatment as well, adding, "There was a hormone injection treatment that cost around $15,000. My family couldn't afford it at that time."

Proud of His Achievements

Despite all the challenges he faced, Abdu said he is proud of what he has achieved and the responsibilities he now carries. "I'm very proud of myself. Alhamdulillah, I look after seven people in my family," he shared.

Salman Khan's Support

Speaking about Salman Khan, Abdu expressed his admiration and gratitude, saying, "Salman Khan is like family to me. He's like a brother." He further added, "He's like my teacher, and I learn from him."
